Bono is a role model for the celebrity humanitarians. I first became familiar with his humanitarian goals from the book, The End of Poverty: Economic Possibilities for Our Time by Jeffrey D. Sachs. Bono wrote the foreword for the book.
Shortly after reading that book, Bono gave the keynote address at the 54th National Prayer Breakfast. I became a fan of Bono. (Sorry, I do not know any of his songs with the U2.)
Bono visited Indianapolis for DATA and ONE campaign visit. He is a real humanitarian. And strangely, Bono speaks some interesting religious tone, too.
"Christianity is not about the bless-me club. It's not about the holy huddle. It's about others." attributed to Bono, U2 and humanitarian. forward, page xii.
I would never like to fail out any chance to read out your listings.
